IOWA TEST OF BASIC SKILLS (ITBS) DATABASES, 2010-2017. For the 2014-2015 through 2016-2017 academic years, Arkansas schools administered the Iowa Test of Basic Skills as the Norm-Referenced Test (NRT) to students in grades 1 and 2. In 2011-2012 through to the 2013-2014 academic years, the test was administered to grades 1-9 whereas in 2010-2011 and 2004-2005 it was administered to k-9 students. The ITBS is administered in conjunction with the Arkansas Criterion-Referenced Exam (CRT) to form the augmented benchmark examination. The ITBS contains subtests in Reading, Mathematics, Language, and Science. All data are publicly available through the Arkansas Department of Education.
STANFORD ACHIEVEMENT TEST-10 (SAT-10) DATABASES. For 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 academic years, Arkansas schools administered the SAT-10 examinations as the NRT to students in grades 1-9. This was another form of measuring student performance on the state and national level. It also tested students’ proficiency in Reading, Language and Math similar to the ITBS exams. This data is also publicly available through the Arkansas Department of Education.
